Golden Tree by Douglas Coupland

CAMBIE & MARINE, Vancouver, BC

Located between 64th Avenue, Cambie Street and Marine Drive, Intracorp’s MC² project is an architecturally significant arrival point between Richmond and Vancouver. With two towers and attached podiums with residential and rental homes, and retail units, MC² is truly a mixed use development that is affordable and offers something for everyone. Built to a LEED® environmental standard, MC² is a sustainable project that encourages the use of transit, walking, biking and Co-op cars, while reducing the reliance on the automobile.

The Team: A team collaboration between Intracorp, renowned Architect James Cheng and Interior Designer Scott Trepp, resulting in a striking addition to the transformation of the Marine Gateway neighbourhood. The Art: Douglas Coupland’s first public art contribution to a residential development in the Lower Mainland, ‘Golden Tree’.
